I took these pictures when the air was warm and smooth,
it laid on your skin like an embrace and said that it would never let go
Today the rain is frozen on the tiny buds who tried to stretch their tiny petals too soon.

It's a different sort of enchantment, still and beautiful but so cold it drives daggers into your bones.
