You know you have a good friend when they'll let you drag them out into the National Forest which is currently on fire because of regulation burnings, ruin a perfectly fine shirt with ash and then stand there and look pretty while you take pictures. (Thanks for being a real sport about this.)
Last year I took his pictures around the same time with the theme of
, which was a lot of fun. This year, I thought "how about a post apocalyptic wasteland?" which, once we got out there, kind of changed to looking like James Bond lit the forest on fire and then stood there and watched it burn. Still fun.
Maybe we'll make a habit out of this, eh? If we follow the trend, next year could be downright terrifying.
